You should be asking yourself, how many languages do I speak? That is what they look for now.

Normally the minimum height is between 5'0-5'1 and the maximum ranges between 5'8-6'3. The height requirements are different at every airline. Many airlines do not even have height requirements, but instead require that you be able to reach to a certain height. I believe that height and weight have been deleted from the list of requirements because of issues involving lawsuits against the airline industry.

At any rate, I don't think there's anything to change your genetic predisposition to height, meaning you can't do anything to make yourself taller. You may or may not have reached your maximum height at the age of 17 already. If you have your heart set on this career then you should do some reading up on it and continue with your education. Being well-educated will help you in any aspect of life and will open up any field of profession for you in the future. And try to learn a language or two other than English. This is truly an asset when competing for a career as a flight attendant. The most common Languages are Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Italian.

Finally check out the links I've included as my sources, good information for you.

Good luck!

depends on what kind of company you work for. there are companies which use smaller planes, i'm not sure how tall you have to be for those, you could check at the companies or ask a flightattendant or anyone who works there.
as for growing taller: go to the hospital to have an xray made of your hand. there are certain parts in your hands (and knees and other places between bones), which are not yet bones when you are growing, but turn into bones while growing (hope that makes sense). when these parts are all bone (to see that you need an x-ray) you cannot grow anymore. but if you can, you can get a shot (or more), an injection with a hormone that will make you grow. ask your gp for advise on this since its not without risk!

Goodness, 17 years old and you can not form a simple sentance in English. "Shud"? "im"?
Apply yourself at school, learn English (speaking and writing) and then Spanish and French....then perhaps a carrier might consider you as flight attendant material.
Currently, you don't have an ice cubes chance in hell.
