Being in love, listening to soft relaxing music, watching the night sky with someone you love, listening to your children laugh, a hot bath and candles, a good book, or just laying around on your day off in jammies and watching a lifetime movie all by yourself? You don't have to use any of these examples, but what do you consider peaceful, or how to do you create it?

(Being on a tropical island, with coconut trees and trees of different types of fruit. The Soothing sounds of the sea waves washing up against the beach, the glow of the bright white full moon, millions of stars shining above in the sky above. A giant 4 poster bed, with me laying on it gazing into the night's sky. Listening to relaxing music and just chilling out, the German flag hung on a tree fluttering in the breeze. )
Or in the real world. Being outside on a warm sunny day, upon a grassy hill and laying down with my eyes closed, total slience...
Bliss~~~~~~~~~

Peaceful generally is all about solitude and escape from reality. Like sitting alone on a sandy river bank, listening to the gentle gurgle of the water and the intermittent noises of natures creatures. That's just one example, it could also be as simple as having an ice cold beer while sitting on the deck alone. It's like a temporary disconnection from this world into one of tranquility and peace. Even if just temporary, it's still great and rejuvenates positive feelings.

For me peace comes through thought. Anyone that reads my answers to other questions will see how big i am on the importance of thought. Whatever helps change your thinking to "peaceful" thoughts will bring peace. One thing will not always work. I am a christian, but sometimes i feel to agaitated to sit down and read the bible until i feel calm. So i have other ways too:
Drinking coffee actually calms me down. It reminds me of when i was younger and my grandparents would sit in the kitchen and discuss their happy childhoods. Coffee is like comfort food for me, it brings back good memories.
Sometimes, i pair the coffee experience with listening to the "softer" sounding songs Maroon 5 made. Even their older stuff from back when they were called "Karas Flowers".
Then i take deep breaths and read.
Once i feel even calmer i watch a movie or call a friend. Writing in my journal helps. It might take you forever, but you can write your way through virtually any emotion to one of peace (it might be 20 pages later though, but it works).

Peaceful to me would have to be a life free from irritation and aggravation. Being in love, a good book, etc. are nice too but I think just being at ease almost no matter where you are or what you are doing is my ideal. As far as creating it goes I would imagine it's the same my idea of peaceful. Hope it helps.

Peaceful? It's the satisfied feeling about yourself, your life and the world around you; nothing can worry or upset you.
I live true with myself and do the right things in my opinion and I feel quite peaceful.

When you can look around, take a deep breath and smile. Just because, and no matter what is going on...
