They always think as themselves to be the "greatest nation in the world". They mix their culture with inferior cultures and they think that's a good thing... They believe in TV. They believe in Holywood. They believe in their politicians. They eat fast-food. They believe in equality (?! - what a non-sense). etc.

[Jonathan> We are not the same. "We are the same" is a media selling slogan. "Equality" is another media slogan. In fact we are very different. Some of us are smarter and deserver a better life. Some of us are stupid and deserve to work for the smarter class etc.

Because people as a whole are sheep and the media tells the sheep what to think, eat, drink, etc…
The problem isn’t subject to any one nation.
As for the inferior culture thing…I blame political pandering and vote buying ploys for not closing the borders.

American media has a lot to answer for. But it is not only the americans that are affected. It is the rest of the world too!
.
But seriously I do not think all americans are brainwashed. I believe the american media leads us to believe that they are. I believe americans are like any people in any country....they are proud of their country and think it is a good place to live. I believe they are more aware than we think of what is not so good about their way of life. But like I said would you or I know about it? How many media programmes have you seen that show ordinary americans questioning their government's policies? If you do they are probably shown as seditious troublmakers.
.
I actually like that some people in this world believe in equality. Most of the savagery that has happened in our world is the end result of a lack of belief in human equality. As for believing in T.V.
Television is a thing. It is there. Either you watch it or you don't. It is not a belief. So I do not what you are going on about there. You say they believe in Hollywood. Once again Hollywood is a place and actors central if you like. What's to believe in? It is there. You either like or dislike. It is not a cult to believe or disbelieve. As for belief in politicians well I have to question you on that one. In american it is not compulsory to vote so at each election only a minority of the american populace deign to vote which is why we get the egg heads leading the nation that we get. I think this says a lot about how much or how little the majority of americans believe in their politicians. In that respect I think they are like the rest of us. Highly cynical overall. Now as for eating fast food. By golly don't the rest of us? I mean this is a world wide problem. But I think I know what you are getting at here. You mean that it is american fast food that is becoming so invasive of other cultures world wide. Well once again it is up to the other country's governments to control the spread of american fast food culture if they are so concerned. Plus ultimately I do not believe fast food is the sole bastion of the americans anymore. It is an outcome of highly urbanised societies worldwide. When more people inhabit cities than work on the land you will see the spread of commercialised food processes.
.
So just maybe you should try not to generalise so much. Remember if you have not been to america or spent time with all kinds of americans then your views of america and americans comes largely from the popular media.....so in effect it is you who are being brainwashed!!!!!!

Every country strives to consider themselves the best nation. in the In the end our differences mean absolutely nothing when you look closely you notice we are all the same. TV rocks... oh by the way the Internet is pretty much the younger brother of TV pathologically speaking. so don't rag on TV. Hollywood and politics are the same you have the stars who put on the show, but without those in the sidelines running the show everything falls apart.

I'm going to say you are Eastern European or possibly Russian...not that it matters. There is no brainwashing involved (although many of us have dirty minds). We are the greatest nation in the world because we believe we are. If you believe your nation is better, then, okay, it's better for you. Does it matter as long as you're happy? Remove the beam from thine own eye before you remove the mote from your neighbor's. (That's in the Bible, by the way.)

They are brainwashed because you want them to be. You want to judge a group of people. That's the answer.
Why do you do it? Probably because you're jealous of them, and by assembling your theory, you're hoping to win approval by like-minded people to make you feel better about your jealousy of people who live in the US.
By stereotyping Americans as politician-loving, tv watching, fast-food lovers, you make whatever culture your from look worse, because anyone with half a brain realizes that America isn't about those things at all.

p.s./not all Americans have negative features.Just some of them.I'm just telling the world's impression on them.Sorry if my impression is offensive.I do think Americans should know.

First, you come across as hateful and jealous.
Second, you are extremely judgemental and you generalize all Americans as if you know every single one.
Third, you say all Americans believe ourselves to be "the greatest nation in the world." and you say it as if you are above us, which just makes you, not only ignorant, but hypocritical to boot.
Who is the brainwashed one, I wonder?

I like Australia better. But that's probably because it's my home country. USA's cool too. And um, some of your points there are wrong. Like ,"They believe in TV," and,"They believe in Hollywood. "The average American knows better than to believe in Hollywood and TV. (Although with TV, there ARE news bulletins.) You know why? Because most of it's fiction! I rest my case.
