i prefer horror n science frictions

If its well done, I'll do any genre. Some genres resonant more depending on the mood. Right now, I'm into the comedy.
I did see a movie a while ago that was considered "French Noveau Erotique" The name of the movie was "The Story of O". There was plenty of nudity but I just couldn't get into the S&M angle of it....
Don't know why I got off on that tangent... pardon the pun.

When I am home alone I like drama so I can cry in private, and when I go out I like comedies and action films.

I love drama (but not stupid schlocky soaps like The Bold & The Beautiful) and sci fi, and detective, mysteries, and those cool cop shows and shows like CSI.

if I had to pick one, it would have to be action, just because I like a movie that keeps you wanting to watch it... on the other hand, it's probably becuase it's still got all the blood and violence, just you don't jump ten feet when you hear that violin screach in some scary scene
