Colangelo is building the Raptors in the same mold as he built the Suns. He needed a quick point guard that is a good distributor and he found one in TJ Ford. Villanueva did have a good season, so the Bucks come out good in this deal, also. They have pretty much solidified their frontcourt for next few years. The only odd thing to me is that I think Villanueva would have fit perfectly into the style of play I think the Raptors are working towards.

There is a long held belief in the NBA that you never trade a big for a small. If you follow that line of thinking then the Bucks came out the winner. I personally think it's too difficult to gage based on the careers of these two players so far. Villanueva had a breakout year, but can he duplicate it? And Ford had to battle back from a very difficult injury, but had a decent 2005-2006.

Pretty Good Trade. The raptors got a point gaurd that they needed. The Bucks got another young big man. Villanueva and Bogut will make a good duo for years to come.

Its a decent trade could go both ways either bad or good. On the positive side the raptors desperatley needed a poitn guard and TJ ford is young and talented and has potential. The man dunks like nuttin and hes only 6 ft like a skinner version of nate robinson. Now that charlie will be with bogut they will make a good solid team. They can put rebound and score and thier both very young. Charlie is the more atheletic of the two but bogut is the more talented. I say thought that the raptors got da best deal out of it. But could go either way.

What????
It is really a disaster. Charlie Villanueva is really well in the past season and full of potentials. God. What the raptors think. Pick an unsuitable draft first and then make a poor trade now.

a options and away the worst flow became the Cowboys extending Tony Romo. Romo must have bare pictures of Jerry Jones that he's employing as blackmail. both that or Jerry Jones has lengthy gone senile. How does one clarify giving $108 million to a guy who's 30 years old, has performed 8 years contained in the NFL and has a brilliant heritage of choking even as the Cowboys needed him the most? Make no mistake. Tony Romo is the desirable QB contained in the NFL in September and October. Come November and December, he's an standard QB at desirable who would properly count number on making the worst judgements come crunch time. i am going to comprehend why the Jets traded Darrelle Revis. He became going into the perfect 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of his contract and the Jets favor to rebuild. They already have a bunch of bloated contracts that they favor to eliminate. Paying Revis what he wanted after coming off of knee surgical procedure became plausible the Jets did not favor to take. Kudos to the Jets for identifying to purchase what they were given. Revis would have bolted after next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and the Jets would are growing no longer something for him.

I hear the fans really love the Raptors, kind of like Golden State. Doesn't matter if they get beat by 50 every night, they'll still go.
The Raptors just need to dump Sam Mitchell and leave Canada...that is, when the fans wise up and stop going.

i think the raptors are either going to resign mike james and move him to sg or not sign him and they have his replacement. on the bucks side im not sure if i like this. they have already signed gadzuric at center and traded for magloire then they draft bogut and now trade for villanueva. what do they plan to do play 4 guys 6'11 or bigger at the same time??? somebody is gonna get moved and im sure its magloire who im very surprised wasnt traded to toronto. he has spoken of his interest in playing in canada (his home country).
