English is only one language and, heck, it was born from several different European dialects like German, Latin and some other stuff. Now, if you're upset that people come to the United States and don't learn to speak our national language well then I agreed with you on that point. But don't beleive for a minute that everyone HAS to learn English.

1) English has the largest vocabulary of all the languages on Earth.
2) English has too many rules.
3) English has too many exceptions to its rules.
4) Most native English speakers do not speak English correctly.
5) Too many buttholes can't step outside of their own perspective to understand why there are so many languages in the world in the first place.

Since more people speak Mandarin (Chinese) than any other language, why don't we all just learn to speak that?

To begin with, there is no such thing as Mexican as a language. It's called Spanish. And secondly, why on earth should we? What business is it of yours if we communicate in any other language with people who are perfectly able to understand us? It's not like everybody who speaks another language is concocting a new 9/11.

Eventually, everyone will know English. They teach it in all the schools in every industrialized nation, and most of the schools in every other country. Who knows maybe in a few hundred years it'll die off like Latin..
