Bill Belichick of the pats...he's very underated. he uses trickery, and uses everyone on the field......when they need a touchdown Bill puts Seymour(DE) in as a fullback

If Bellichick is such a great coach why does he have NO division crowns compared to, I believe, 3 when he was coaching in the same division as Cowher. Oh yeah because Cowher IS the better Coach. Yeah he is such a great coach for the Patriots so where was he with the Browns. Simple fact is he ISN'T a genius coach. He has a GREAT team that he is coaching and, as much as I hate to say this being a Steelers fan, a GREAT QB. Sorry Cowher is a better coach. Let's see who else has been listed Marvin Lewis, good coach, and Tony Dungy, good coach. Do you know what they have in common? They were both coordinators under Cowher prior to becoming head coaches. Hmmm couldn't be that they got a little of their learning from him. That to me shows that he can teach people to be a coach as well. Honestly look how many people under him went on to coach and how many were good. Not just coincidences. He is a more complete coach and a better coach. Proably the best one in the NFL right now.

In the NFL today, I am going to say Bill Cowher and not just because he won the Super Bowl. What Coach Cowher has got going for him is the fact that he can do his job year after year after year. He has been able to keep his job the longest with his current team than any other current coach. When he had a few rough years he did not quit, move to another team, or was even fired.
Only the best coach can do that. Sure winning is important too, but a coach also has to know how to deal with the players, management, fans, the press, and of course losing. Look at coach Reed for the Eagles. He was just a few wins shy of a few Superbowls, but even if he did win them, I still wouldn't consider him a good coach because he doesn't seem to know how to handle his players.

Last time I checked there hasn't beenm a coach to win like Bill Belichick since, um, noone. With all the free agency and stuff in the NFL now it's a tough job just getting to the playoffs each year. And you've got to give credit for the teams ability to make adjustments with injuries and such. I know your all sick of hearing abouth Bill and his teams but remove your dislike and look back at what has been accomplished, there will be no other coach to accomplish what he has again ... Yes, not even Cowher.

the best coach in the NFL is joe gibbs, I cant beleive no 1 has that yet! when he made his return to the redskins, he surrounded him self with great coaches, and now hes turned a 4-12 team into a playoff team. and in his earlier years with the 'skins he led them to 4 superbowls. of course he was coached under some other great coaches like don coryell, john mckay, and frank broyles. and for all u steeler fans, cowher was also an assistant coach once too, coaching under marty.

The best coaches ever were Don Shula and Mike Ditka. Right now, there are a lot of great ones up and coming. My favorites would be Bill Cower and Bellichek - both are passionate.

Art Shell is going to be the best this year.
Last few years it has been Marvin Lewis bringing the Bengals back.
Tony Dungy left a masterpiece in Tampa and is using his weapons well in Indy.
Best coach of all time: of course...Vince Lombardi
