No, he's not doing a good job.

Unlike many people, I don't think it's because he's evil or stupid. I think he's just doing what he was told to do by his business-school teachers and his religious leaders.

Unfortunately, they are badly mistaken. Profit does not make the world a better place, not everyone who thinks differently from them is evil, and most problems cannot be solved at gunpoint.

I don't think anyone, who is sensible, blames him for the 9/11 attacks, but he is responsible for overreacting to them in inhumane and dangerous ways, he is responsible for refusing to deal with widespread, and severe, corporate corruption, and he is responsible for turning our public schools into job-training centers instead of educational institutions.

I'm afraid the effects of these policies are going to hurt us and the rest of the world for a long time. I think he meant well, but I don't think he was up for the job. A real leader has a broad mind, an even temperament, values honesty, can think far ahead, and is able to shrug off politics.

probably not the best BUT better than ANY Democrat could do.
If 9/11 would have happen with a Democrat in the White House we would be scr*ewed right now. Check history Democrat do not win wars. Kennedy messed up the bay of pig to this day we are paying for it., hundreds of Americans lost their lives for nothing. Johnson scre*wed up Vietnam it was the only war in our history that we have truly lost. 50,000 american died for nothing Carter totally Screwed up the Iranian Crisis 160 americans died for nothing. Clinton scre*wed up Somalia 20 americans died for nothing. Each of these President's repsonded to a international crisis using the Milatary but did not have the ba*lls to follow through Each of them withdraw and each of them lost america lives and gained nothing each of caused the US military to be a mockery around the world. On the contract when you again check history when a Republician President used the mulitary we win wars and the US is feared around the world.

Yes he is doing a good job. reason1--Just look at what he inherited from the Clinton administration. 2.---It was only after a few months that the 911 attack occurred, do you think that happened over night, it took months and months maybe even years to get that into play, and who was our Pres, Clinton was, and poor George Bush had to deal with it, and he is dealing with it. 3----This President of ours is a faithful husband, and a devoted Father to his children, Point made, period.

NO!
1) He's trying to fight his daddy's war
2) He is paying no attention to Global Warming
3) He is ignorant and a socially hunger to be on good terms with the rich
ex. Hurricane Katrina, the man FLEW OVER, the site that illustrated America's poverty, something that took his little buddies at FEMA a long time to get it, coincidence? I think yes.

in response to kat's post. Being a faithful husband and good father is his PERSONAL business. What does that have to do with his ability( or lack of) to run a country? Clinton may have had extra marital affairs but it didn't cause people to die, oil companies to get richer, a dip in the economy and an extra trillion dollars America now owes to other countries. Clinton's wife forgave him so its no one else's business. Sheesh, people! learn to separate personal and public life!
