Anyone Here Listen To JACK in LA? I Need The Name Of A Song!?

I actually love this new format and am getting to hear music I haven't heard before. The problem is they never tell you the name of the band or song.

Like I heard a song several days ago that I really loved and will go buy some of their CDs if I ever find out who these guys are.

The singer was actually fast talking the song. He was a white guy but it almost sounded like rap or early Dylan. The song name dropped a lot of names of people in his life and what had happened to them.

There were lines like "And Diann drove her Chevy into San Francisco Bay."

Can anyone help me with who this group is?

'Black Jack do it again.....'

I and know a a song that goes, 'Drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry...'

And I know of a white rapper named Eminem.
