Here's the bad news. I said much the same thing back when i reached Level 2 five weeks ago. Now i'm closing in on 8,000 points, and i'll probably make it to Level 6 in a week or so. And there are people a lot worse off than me. (Just check the Leaderboard if you have any doubts!)
Maybe we need a support group.....?
(With our luck the support group would just be another category here at Yahoo! Answers.....!)

When I first started Q&A and paid a lot of attention trying to get to Level 2, but now I just enjoy asking and answering questions and doesn't really matter to me what Level I am at now. I find it amazing to post a serious question and get immediate answers from such knowledgeable people. I guess I am just trying to say enjoy Q&A without the mental distraction of trying to gain points, to me its not really a competition.

LOL the higher you get, the more difficult it gets. I'm headed towards level 4, but it requires some 2000 points to get to! I'm not going for points, but for substance. Nonetheless, I can't imagine how hard getting to level 5 is! I think 7 is the highest.

It's kinda weird, huh? I keep wondering about the people who have the time to sit at the computer hours on end to achieve level 7. What else do they do with their lives? Do they have a job? kids? sex? or is their computer the it and all? Hey that's a good question. Think I'll ask it.

I just made it to level 4 yesterday. Yay! This site is fun. The more Q's you answer, the more pts. and the number of Q's you can ask increases. Have fun...I do! I probably do need help! LOL

I just got to level 3!... Go me!... Now thanks to you, I have just added 2 more points!... Thanks!... This is addictive!... I have only been on here for like a week. Just keep answering. Remember asking takes away 5 points, but answering gives you 2 points.
