If the war in Iraq is about oil, and since you drive around in cars, doesn't that make you anti-war protesters hypocrites?

You're making the assumption all anti-war protesters are against the use of oil.

You let me know how it works for you to get to a job 30 minutes away by car on bike or walking. Or maybe you would rather sit at home and collect welfare?How the hell is the war about oil and gas prices keep going up? People are mad because we were lied to and we do not see justification for killing all these innocent people. But I guess people who are for the war just love liars.

The war in Iraq isn't about oil, and it certainly isn't about making the world safer. It's about GWB's crusade to remove Saddam Hussein from power at any cost. Mission accomplished.

What does that have to do with me driving a car?

Add to this they won't allow drilling in a tiny frozen tundra so far north in Alaska that few people ever visit it;

Add to this the extreme anger they portray about drilling off the coast of our country (even though Canada, Finland, Argentina and Mexico do regularly.

But if thats not bad enough; you should see them cry foul over bus pass increases.

The war is about imperialism, not oil. Why do "conservatives" support the sort of out-of-control deficit spending the Bush administration is doing?

Because their cars all run on biodiesel and thus are not dependant on wars for a continuing supply of fuel. Why don't those promoting war pay for it themselves so that the rest of us can use our money to buy more biodiesel?

lol. maybe because the price of oil would be cheaper if the current administration didn't scare the crap out of every middle eastern oil producing country and actually invested in adding a little stability to the region.

Because to hide thier "wrong", they try to point towards other's.

Rather than "anti-war", they should be "pro-peace". The late "Mother" Theresa said she would go to an ant-war rally. She would only attend a pro-piece rally.

this is something i was curious about lately. I like this band called "rise against". But in their music video it showed deforrestation and things like that. I wonder if they live in houses that are framed by two by fours and such. Hypocrisy is rampant. some people cry out over things, but are a pawn of them at the same time. tsk tsk.
