When I was in China, I found that Thai and Korean restaurants were very popular. So was McDonalds. In Taiwan we often ate Japanese food or Kentucky Fried Chicken.
But the food Chinese people eat most of the time at home is Chinese by definition--because Chinese people make it and eat it.
Besides, Chinese food is feichang hao!

Your question reminded me of something! Last weekend my husband and I went to the local Chinese place. We had to wait to be seated,right.The reason we had to wait is so the Hostess could throw her Arby's trash away. This is a family owned business so naturally she was Chinese! So I guess Chinese people don't always eat Chinese food. (either that or this girl really did not like her mom"s cooking!!)
