how many grains of sand are in the flood sand bags ...what is the actual weight really?

This question has gone a week without an answer. I doubt that anyone has taken the time to count the grains of sand in a sandbag. The number would be different for every bag anyway.

Sand bags usually weigh somewhere between 20 and 50 pounds depending on the size of the bag and to what extent it has been filled.
