Is it possible to be with someone you NEED but WANT someone else? I mean WHY?

i know it is possible, need and want have two different concepts.
I'm with the man i NEED to be with but I WANT someone else.
I know we can't always have what we WANT in life.

Well, if you are really with the man you need to be with, and you are happy and know that he is your best choice, then ignore the wanting feelings. Everyone in stable happy relationships occasionally wants someone else, but those feelings don't need to be acted upon and they don't mean you're a bad person.

Everyone wants at times. The point is that the responsible, grown-up thing to do is realise that what you want is a fleeting thing that doesn't have to have an impact on your life. Part of growing up is realising that you can live without things you want, and that you won't die if you don't get everything you want.

Yes, it's v. possible. I guess u'd feel if u stay w/the guy u NEED u might miss ur opportunity w/the guy u WANT. I guess I'd say if u r NOT married and the guy u WANT is NOT married either...then u could be with this guy (if only for a night to get out your lusty desires). Then, if u r satisfied w/just leaving it at that (a one nighter w/no repeat performances) u could go back w/the guy u NEED.

That said, it'd be ideal if u would break it off w/the guy u NEED first before you decided to pursue that one nighter w/the guy u WANT. The whole thing about cheating...that could weigh on your conscience heavily.

Need means u are like to need for your life securing and want securing from her so u need at any cost and want is not so as u never know detail about her and just glamour but a person attract glamour also even he know it is harmful but like so both are useful for any body if his observati on and selection is good otherwise both are poision for any body depend on u that u are a perfact to select the partner/friends etc

yes of course its possible, wot u need to work out is why u need this man and do u really really need him or do u just think u do ..
and y do u want this other person and if u had this other person would u really be happy and would things work out the way u want them to .. and dont worry bout it u not the only one to have been in the position nor will u be the last .. xx good luck xx

Ask yourself,do u really,really need this person.What's so important about this person that you can't get your needs from someone else.I think love is more important

If your stuck in a hole and can't leave cause of finaincial reasons.. then you "HAVE" to be where you are. You don't WANT to be there, you HAVE to be there.

But I know what you mean... and if that's the case it's probably good to just move back with your parents for a month or so than it would be to stay in a place you are not happy to be.

absolutly. I am in the same boat.. I am stuck with what I have or need due to circumstance but want to be with someone else..that someone else wants to be with me but circumstance will not allow at this time.. hopefully at some point we can be together.... unfortuniatly sometimes love is just not enough

because need and want are two different thing or scenario...

its also true we cant always have what we all want....
but better ask yourself are you really going to be happy and contented with what you have right now, because that's what you need or should you go or choose what you want in order to be happy?

i was in the same position for years then after my dad died i realised life is too short so left my long term partner after 18 yrs and im now with guy i was seein,financially a lot worse off but never been happier

Dun do tat u end up hurting the man u need badly
