I not really sure. On the Arkansas River there not an actual size limit. Some people fish from Canoes and Kayaks. BUT, if the River up and wild they may have a small craft advisory and stop you from launching if they see you. If, no one can answer Positively there two things you may try; (1) Call the Army Corps of Engineers and ask. (2) Just go and play dumb. IF, your boat not allowed they will mostly likely tell you and no more said.
IF, you talking about a very large boat, you can probably go with anything you can that not run into Depth Problems. There may not be a law, but, if you get stuck and are blocking other boat traffic they may call someone to move you at your expense. Similar to Cops calling a Wrecker when a car break down on the Freeway.

I live in Tennessee and I am not aware of one. The Tennessee River and connecting lakes of the TVA system support commercial barge traffic.

There are some pretty big pleasure boats running around. A friend has a 45 footer that he goes every where with.

Unless you are talking really big you are probably O.K.
