It depends on the issue, there are certain positions on issues that if the candidate held, I would not vote for them (pro-invasion, anti-freespeach). In most cases however I vote for a candidate who most matches my beliefs overall.

i dont vote only for the fact that i never see any good in any of the people who run for presedency. its all a show now who looks the best, who can bag on the other president the best. if washington could see us today he would probily cry, because he wasted his life fighting for people who would one day only care about their golf game and fighting wars that will never be resolved. i am not a liberal or a republican i am a person who beleives in happines and independence, which we so blindly dont have

or option three: don't vote because, let's face it, electoral colleges do the job for us because we are stupid.
