My experience has shown me that people that are liberals, typically don't want to work as hard as the next guy. Yet they want the same privileges. Sorry but I say if you didn't earn it you don't deserve it.
There is no reason on earth, that the guy who works hard for a living, should then have to turn around and give some of what he's earned, to the guy who sits on his rear all day, sucking on dope and beer.
And you will notice that most all of the Red States are those with the hardest working people in them. You may think of them as dumb rednecks, but it's those dumb rednecks that are growing the food, that is feeding the world, creating the raw products for your medicines and clothing. Cutting the lumber that builds your houses. Driving the trucks that haul all the things that you city folks spend your days shopping for. And that's just a few things they do. If all of the Rednecks in the United States went on strike for just a week, life as you know it, in this country would come to screaching hault. Next time you see a redneck, bow down and kiss his boots.

That's funny, the 2 Richest people in the world US Bill Gates and another gentleman are not Republicans, and they give a large portion of their money to charity!
Angelina Jolie is a liberal. She gives 1/3 of her money to charity!!
Please tell me where you got the figures.

I am not on the lower rung, I am at well above the 1/2 way mark!! Most of my friends are higher than that!!

because, instead of pursuing power and wealth, we choose to make attempts at bettering society.
Conservatives are only looking out for #1 - refusing to spend a little of their wealth to help those who need it. That's why there's no universal healthcare in the US.
Liberals are in what you consider the "lower rungs" because doing good deeds, and giving of yourself, generally does not pay as well as hording oil and cutting jobs - despite the fact that cutting those jobs will only save you a few cents on the dollar.
In short - Greed. Most liberal people don't have it - or, have less of it.

Because liberals play fair and are unselfish. Conservatives are evil, and believe that the world is their playground and dont consider any consequences. Liberals give money to good causes, not George Bush. Liberals preach tolerance, not hate. And to the guy above ("PARTY ANIMAL") that referred to me as a communist queer. That same idiot right winger would crap his pants if he saw this "commie queer" on the street. I am not a communist, I am not a queer (not that theres anything wrong with that), and I am a Democrat because I love my country, and care about preserving it for my children and grandchildren. Not just burn up all of our resources like you guys in your Hummers and SUV's.

Because I'm too busy reading Pravda and discussing with my fellow liberal friends how much we hate America and fer crissake, why don't the terrorists just win already? Anyway, with all that resentment for America, and ESPECIALLY George Bush, I don't see how there can be any time left for advancing into middle management, or whatever.
