Why not let a cop break down any door or look anywhere, and pay a BIG price if they are wrong?
I wonder if a cop that breaks down the wrong door would automatically face huge fines or such, would not be a better cop?
I would love to allow them to go where it is known that things are happening and clean it up without the waste of energy and the time (which allows criminal to escape) or warrants and such.
AS LONG as these guys would have to pay a very high price for causing, even the slightest unwarranted damage!
search your car for no reason and find drugs or weapons or a kidnapped girl? off to jail no problem
find nothing? the cop pays you $150 out of his own pocket!
would this make cops plant stuff?
yes but only the cops that do that anyway!

I could be wrong, but what do you think?
and please no name calling. all of your ideas are not gold either, you know!

I could be wrong here, but it sounds to me like you already have an axe to grind against law enforcement... cops planting stuff??? gimmie a break will ya... maybe in the 60's but its rare now ( not that it still doesnt happen) Law enforcement knows where the trouble is, where the drugs are, and whos breaking the law.. they are just constrained by this thing called the law, and individual constitutional rights. Make no mistake, if the police break down the wrong door.. theres hell to pay.. possibly even their jobs, not to mention lawsuits against their respective department, and in some cases, individual lawsuits against the individual officer.

all the man hours spent on intelligence gathering, establishing probable cause and finally getting all the proper warrants to search said houses takes more time then you know.. and the reason they TAKE the time is so they DONT kick down the wrong door....

Cops are human just like everyone else.. they get angry, they laugh and cry just like you... they have a job to do.. one thats never been more dangerous.

Son,if your police work is anything like your screwing, you wouldn't be able to hit the g-spot in a 12 pound pu$$y!Not all cops are dirty ya know.Don't believe everything you hear on TV,sonny.Cop work is far more difficult than you can possibly imagine. You are forced to stay your hand against child-molesters,rapists,serial killers and such types.Very few cops break the rules. But when they do,they either become more effective or not effective at all.American law has so many loopholes, a guy could kill as many people as he wants and he could also get off on a mere technicality. This would really pi$$ off the cops working the case, don't ya think?MY uncle is a cop,a good one,and I know the trials and tribulations he goes through.

The biggest price they'll pay by knocking down a door could be their life.

What's the first thing somebody with a gun is going to do if someone violently breaks into their house? And especially the "wrong" house. It's not just criminals who have guns.
