well first of all, you must be brave to shop by yourself.. a lady never get afraid to try to shop alone.. and you must also know what you want.. let's just say that you wanted a classy look, go for a comfortable and lightweight fabric. do not try to imitate any others style. create your own style that way, you can really say that you are beautiful. Also when buying clothes, alway keep in mind that cute doesn't complete the clothe. you must see to it that, it is comfortable (who would want to wear a cloth that is cute but is pretty heavy) .. also know you're flaws well. if you have a nice shoulder why don't you try those clothes with open necklines and pair it with a long necklace... also keep your skin clean and clear. it helps whenever you buy clothes because a good cared skin will look best with a nice clothe.

Ease yourself into the consumer world, slowly.
First start with basics like tees & tanks in neutral colors like white, beige, etc. Work your way through the rest of the colors.
If you feel comfortable, you can try purchasing some more trendy tops.
Work your way towards bottoms by purchasing 3 different types of jeans:
1 dark wash- for more formal occasions
1 medium wash- for going out in the day
1 light wash- for relaxing & lounging.
Feel free to spluge on jeans because they are the ultimate neccessity in the average American wardrobe.
See if you can work your way into more trendy bottoms, like shorts, capris, and skirts.

My point, ultimately, is that once you ease yourself in by sticking with the basics, you will find that shopping is a lot of fun, and as a bonus, helps boost your endorphins :)

first of all...u dont always have to buy clothes that look cute...i know 'cute ' is really in...but sumtimes u gotta try other stuff like 'smart' or 'urban'....(or sexy)
never buy clothes that u have a doubt about...because i noe that ur never gonna wear them n theyre gonna end up in the far end of your cupboard...thats just a big waste of money...always look at the prices before u buy clothes...try sum bazaars instead of mega malls n stuff...thay have a huge variety which is easily affordable....
dont buy clothes only because theyre cute...they should fit u well n they should also be comfortable...!!!
so whenever u go shoppin dont go all mad...but just select the ones u really like...the ones that YOU knoe YOU are goin to wear... :)

join the club.
i can go in the fitting room and try on so many clothes but never find what looks good.
and when i find something that looks good, i make sure to buy 3 of the same kind since it's rare to find something that fits right.

No , I don't think you should get it just because it is cute , you should get it because it fits you well , makes you look good , goes with your body shape and minimizes your flaws ...because it can be the cutest thing ever and make your butt look huge anyway that's just what I think

maybe the reason why you cant choose certain items of clothing goes beyond what you think is cute or not cute. do you think in terms of images and styles related to one social group?...like that looks too hippie, or too punk, or too preppy...yadayada. but i say choose the things that you think are cute and in the process you'll develope your own style that is unique and individual to you!

Take someone whom you trust their judgment to help you shop. Then let him/her find things and no matter how you like it, trust that they want you to look your best. Sounds like you might lack in self-esteem and you need to remember that we are all individuals and perfectly capable of making decisions. Then trust your decisions. Practice, practice, practice, and you will gain self confidence.
