If you do it standing up in the shower it eliminates the mess problem.
Some women like having sex at this time , the tell me it helps relieve bad cramping.

You make a mess, other than that, (it's not foolproof) but for the most part,you won't get pregnant during this time--unless your at the end of your period.

Nothing really, except sometimes a mess. It grosses some people out and it depends on how much you bleed.

Reg. da ? abt Sex durin da period- is safe (no fear of pregnancy), no matter wat kind of a women -she is(?), she will get her orgasm (?-multiple) quickly, as da vagina is lubricated eventually (unless U lay down under a fan directly-da area will dry quickly). Unless u av an infection R some disease in da area-over dare-pvt.part, ( free from sickness) -it is advised 2 av sex during da period. also U av 2 av in u r mind dat da blood comes out of ur's is also sterile (concider da place where ur baby is growin, livin 4- almost 10 months) only untill it comes out of da OS. den it mix up wit da fungi(all da women r born with, n no xcuse), infections- b coms bad blood. It is 1-ly, our ancestors made up dare own concept reg, not 2 av sex during da period, is bad bcos @lst dat time let da women get some rest from da crazy man (?)-(preventing da females from sexual activities) But who cares now? usin multiple condoms(if da 1-st one ruptures), anal sex and wat not now adays? If u maintain gud health n vry gud hygiene in ur pvt area, dare is no problem in avin sex durin period. Try it, u 'll really ensoy dis time n u nvr evr 4get dis golden moments in ur life time(like titanic) (xcuse- jst 4 fun, me 4 answerin dis ? in ephonics style- sorry) Hope every body understand this real and unrevealed fact.

ur risk of infection is slightly higher. But nothing else--except, as mentioned, it makes for a lot of clean up. : [

Well, ur bedsheets get stained and you'll get blood ALMOST everywhere (figuratively speaking) and it might gross ur partner out (different reactions w/ different ppl)

There is no health defects when having sex during your period. Unless you have a disease and etc... etc...

first of all there is health defects, you can get toxic shock syndrome, a very bad blood infection.
