I had to have cesarean section after 33 hours of labor with my first baby becasue they suspected flat bone structure, instead of round... and the second time I tried v-bac and still there was no success, after 15 hours I had to have a c-section... I had the third child with c-section too but didn't try natural birth... I felt like I have been cheated of the motherhood experience... I'd like a fourth child preferably a boy, but I am reluctant... anybody out there with more than one c-section? would love to hear your thoughts...

they advise not to go beyond 3 due to a risk of the uterus bursting. Unless you have been told UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST YOU GET PREGNANT then there is no reason why you can't have a 4th. It is up to you, personal choice. I think if you do have a fourth then it may be advisable to not have any more after that. The risk isn't worth it, think of the children you already have. Could you bear to leave them without a mum if it all goes wrong? I am not trying to scare you, just advising of worst case scenario. I do think one more would be okay though.

Good luck

My husband and I have 4 children and I had them all by c-section.
The only way a vbac would be not recommended is the way they did the incision. If they do it up and down, instead of side to side (whether on the inside or outside)then there's a chance the incision might open up.
My ob/gyn said it was good that we weren't having any more children because my uterus was so thin that she was afraid it might rupture if I got pregnant again. That's why I had my tubes tied after our last child was born - we were done having children and I didn't want to run the risk of a uterine rupture.

It is recommended a woman only have 3 c-sections in a lifetime. It takes a woman's body a whole year to completely heal from having one.

But i seen in the Guinness book of world records a woman had all 11 of her kids by c-section.

Talk with your doctor and good luck to you

Usually, if you have had a C-section, doctors will forbid you from having a vaginal birth, because the incision is much weaker than that actual uterus would've been without the incision. A vaginal birth could cause it to rupture, and possibly injure/kill the baby and the mother.

as far as i know, you cant do a v-bac after two c-sections.
i have had two c-sections.
i am sure you can have as many children as you want, they have to have a way, it probably just means more scar tissue, and possibly a larger scar.
if you get pregnant there has to be a way for them to get the baby out, they cant very well leave him in there.
just double check with your ob-gyn
