Yes.

You can buy a PCI card with USB 2 ports - here's one and there are MANY, MANY others.

I recommend buying from either www.newegg.com (site seems down at the moment - VERY ODD) or www.microcenter.com

Yes, there is,but it really depends on the age of the computer and the operating system. If you have Windows 98 SE or later, you should be OK.

Just go to the store and buy a USB 2.0 PCI card (you must havea PCI slot available inside the computer [white slot] of course), install the hardware, and then install the software that comes with the device.

Yes, sure. There are all kinds of additional cards for Usb 1 and 2. All kinds are available. Look at ebay or your local computer store. I do advise you to get new stuff for that includes documentation and drivers you may need. The card should not be expensive at all.

They come for older and less older desktop computers, also for laptop computers. The package should include drivers for if you are on a windows older than XP.
I do expect that drivers for windows 98 and older are not included nowadays. You need to ask specifically if that is what you need.

If your computer is really really old, or using windows 95, 98 or ME - I guess best is to bring your pc to the shop and have them show you it works. Ask them if they do this for you at no extra charge.
On an old computer you may not be able to taken advantage of the full speed of usb 2.0 . It may not be able to run a webcam full speed and such. Have them try it for you.

Hope this helps.

yeah you could probably just get a USB pci card and stick it in there

but it doesnt work all the time, if your computer is that old then it would be a better investment to just get a new one.
