This life is a piece of cake compared to what someone experiences in hell for an eternity.

Let's say you check into a hotel... let's say this hotel is clean, but average... nothing super special, just the basics. Maybe this hotel has a pool, not too big, and not new, but none the less there's a pool. Maybe there's a continental breakfast...doughnuts, coffee, bagels and maybe those small boxes of fruit loops.. Nothing spectacular. Not the best hotel.
But if you're tired there's a bed.
If you're dirty there's a shower.
Hungry before you head out in the morning, have a bagel.
Sunny day, take a swim.
The bed might not be comfortable, the shower might have terrible water pressure, the bagel might be hard, and the pool might be green.
In this life you can find a better hotel. But I've never heard of a better hell.

Sometimes I've felt that this life is a living hell, but then I feel the warm breeze on my face or see the ocean and I know that I am not in hell. I don't know if hell exists but while we are alive I think we should try to enjoy life as best we can. The older I get the more I realize how short life really is..

If the Bible didn't mention being cast into a lake of fire after judgement I would believe this is hell.
I use to think the same thing....that maybe this is hell that we all live every day. And if we can get through it and still be a good decent person then we can move on.
But can't re-write what the big man has written so I have to belive his story.

NO! But it is certainly not paradise.
We exist here in what has been properly identified by Celts and some others as "Satan's Eden." Scripture states that Satan is the "god of this world." Our trials are threefold. The ground is cursed to man, Satan runs to and fro to devour with disease and trials. Then, through our desires, we can bring trails and death on ourselves and others.
All this is made worse because of mistaken Christian teaching about Hell. The Scripture says that Hell is prepared for the devil and his angels, not as a place of torment for mankind.
Please follow this carefully. Christ promised eternal life to those who believe in Him Only God has eternal life and imparts His life as a gift in the plan of salvation. Without this gift of eternal life, you CANNOT live forever in either Hell or Heaven.
Could even God wipe the tears from my eyes; if I knew that I had a son or daughter, or anyone, burning in an eternal Hell? Such teaching is damnation to its teachers. It is designed to dishonor God and line the pockets of priests and preachers with money and their egos with followers.
If you understand this, you must see that an eternal Hell for any person is impossible. Understand that your daily trials come either from evil or your own desires. ..".lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil"... Get into the Bible, make sure you have eternal life. Take up the many promises of God. which give, those who believe, true victory in the face of an otherwise living hell here, in Satans Eden.

I would think that a person who's life was saved would have a different perspective. I think life is just fine. I have ups and many downs. All I have to do when I think my life has some hell in it is to turn on the news. It works EVERY time. Geez. My life is a bloomin' bowl of cheeries, after a few minutes of that!!

You're not alone. Everybody is bothered by his busy mind.
If you want peace, you need to discipline your thoughts, because the mind won't stop, even when you are tired out and asleep. The mind keeps bugging you in form of dreams and nightmares.
Are you constantly thinking about the past?
Are you anticipating the future?
Do you make up stories and happenings that are in fact not happening? But those imaginations make you worried like real?
Then obviously, you won't be happy.
If you want to be alive and happy, learn to live moment to moment in full awareness of the present time.
Maybe, learn to meditate.

yeah, it can b a hell.everything which can make it a hell is available on earth in plenty.but still v have an edge over everything.we r masters of our own.we may or may not allow anything to reign our life.
but this is also true that sometimes things go out of our control.in that case, there's only one way out.we can just mitigate their bad effects by being optimistic and hopeful.and it really needs to b strong enough.
