"1.It's safer when it comes to bugs
2.Looks better when it comes to the design
3.It's more proper for professionals
And more... "
No, they are not safe when it comes to bugs. They have PLENTY of Macro viruses. The only reason why they are not targeted with viruses is because people dont really use them.
They dont look better, they look (word that I cant say on Yahoo Answers)
ITS NOT MORE "PROPER" OR PROFESSIONAL:
They dont allow 3rd party software
In fact, you cant even find good Mac games.
This video tour will explain everything I just said and MORE:

Macs are better. In every aspect. Hands down. No contest. The PC fanboys don't like to admit it. Plenty of smart people use Macs. Anyone who uses a Mac is smart. It's been proven. In schools where Macs were used, students performed better. Let the PC fanboys pay for Gates' mansion. Get a Mac.

One could go on for days about the benefits of each and without getting into technobabble, I'll tell you that I like the Mac.
It depends on what you're using it for, but I find my Mac G4 Laptop with the 17-inch widescreen to be intuitive, great for photo and video editing, movie watching, etc.
Viruses: Yes, totally possible to get them with any operating system, but I use Mac OSX (O.perating S.ystem Ten), and have had zero virus issues as opposed to a lot of issues I had with Windows XP despite being aggressive with my Norton Antivirus.
Resale: Sold my Mac G3 Laptop for 80% of what I paid for it two years after owning it. Try to do that with a PC.
Interoperability: So, you have Windows programs that you want to run? Run them on your Mac by setting up a, "Virtual PC" I have a virtual Windows machine set up on my Mac for instances when I absolutely have to run a PC-Based Program. I also still use Microsoft Word, (for which there is a Mac Version) because I think it's a better word-processing program than Mac's "Pages".
In sum, it has been my experience that you pay a little more for the Mac, but it retains it's value, does a lot more than any PC can do, faster, with fewer crashes and virus issues. This is just my opinion though, and I hope that you find a PC proponent in your quest to find an answer which will provide balance. Good luck.

I personally would have to say mac...
no hassle... soon as you install windows you have to get protection immediately... there are still like over a million virus's that can mess a PC up running windows...
on a mac however, you install os x... thats it no downloading this or that to make sure its protected...
the only thing you really have to do then is just use it free of any of that..
but im not a gamer so i dont look at the aspect of lack of games for mac...
but i like something that just works not hassle...
i also am really into my music
so a mac is just what i'd rather use over a PC

Personally, I prefer PC, because while Macs are pretty, they're for people with no computer knowledge whatsoever, because there's no challenge in using them. PCs are very easy to use also, but they're better for computer programming, and you can have Visual Basic on a PC. PCs are also better for graphic making, because they have a wider range of software to choose from. Plus, PCs have much better virus protection. There is a huge selection of software to choose from for that, but not for Mac.
Also Macs are way over-priced, like at least $1500 each, whereas you can get a great PC for about $700.

I use to preach only IBM cause the cost factor, the amount of software available, etc.
Many items you use, drop down menu, mouse, firewire, etc all came from Apple.
But now Apple has a new one out that is Mac operating system AND Windows operating system together.
Since Apples are like non vulnerable to virus's and many other problems and since it now has both operating systems, to me its Apple hands down.

Depends on your knowledge of computers and what you plan on doing with it. If you're like me and you don't know much, then I would stick with the PC (it's slightly more user-friendly). Otherwise, got with Mac.

to a few idiots out there who think apples are invulnerable to viruses....
THEY ARE NOT!
the operating system is. mac does not have viruses because only stupid people use mac. if you have windows on an apple computer, it WILL get viruses. the virus does not attack hardware (which is also the same, just different brands) it attacks software. if you put windows on an apple, the OS WILL ATTRACT VIRUSES. enjoy your f'ed up apple software :-)
