I'd really love to visit some time and catch a (NFL) Football game.
I love the work hard/ play hard culture.

The country itself is a wonderful land. Some of the people however, are arrogant, self absorbed, uneducated and xenophobic. I should imagine a lot of this is down to media and education. But I never knew a better saying to apply to the people of USA than 'pride comes before a fall'. Thank god, I come from the most beautiful land in the world where the people are proud, self deprecating, educated, humorous and brave....Scotland of course!

The worst and most unfair nation in the world, guided by greed, violence, racism and bigotry. A haven of organised crime from top to bottom, full of badly educated gullible people, ruled by an unscrupulous clique of super-rich gangsters and war criminals.
In short: the evil empire.
However, there is hope for the world, since the USA is already declining rapidly and will sooner or later fall and disintigrate.

Lived in the US for 5 months while interning - lovely place to visit, but would never live there permanently. Some Americans are very ignorant and they seem to have this attitude and way of thinking in which they forgot that there is actually a world outside of the States. I love the UK - much more history and culture then the US.

We have tremendous freedoms. We have a wealth of natural resources. We have many beautiful places, and many wonderful people. Right now, I think the rest of the world is disgusted with us because we claim to be a world leader but we have secret prisons? Torturing prisoners of war? Mistreating and holding people without due process? We have lost the respect of most of the world, and that's unfortunate, because we can be a great nation.

I haven't been but I am sure that geographically, parts of it are amazing.
You can't generalise about people, but I was shocked by how many Americans don't have passports and never leave their country. I think that if more Americans experienced different cultures, then they would understand other viewpoints more.

We are a nation of hypocrits. EQUALITY FOR ALL except males, caucasians, and unborn children. MAKE YOUR OWN WAY except that we will give other's hard earned money away to feed your vices. STAND STRONG IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY, tuck tail and run when things get too tough though.
