Just about anything anyone does can be labeled a psychological disorder of some type. Knowing that, I'd have to say it's growing up with nothing to ground a person, no limits, no morals, no understanding that not everything is okay to do.

In some people it's just the way they are wired. Meaning a child that finds pleasure in hurting animals for example is someone that just is missing empathy fundmentally.
In other people it's about modeling the way they should be from parents, from society, from tv.. from everything.
For example, if parents are extremely selfish and ignore the needs of the child.. some children will grow up to be selfish in life as it's all they know.

The GOVERNMENT... they control how we raise our children and live our lives, and in the end our children are the one's who suffer. Not counting the adults who need help and receive none because the government will not take any action.
