well of course washing and drying on high heat, but thats pathetic, get a new hat that fits you so you dont need to shrink it.

you won't like this,
but the best way to shrink a fitted baseball hat
(although it will fade the hat's color quite a bit)
is to strap it to your head and go swimming with it on.
then get out of the pool, play softball,or just throw the ball around with the hat still strapped to your wet head, as it dries and shrinks to fit your head in the sun.
the strap isn't fun.

Just keep washing it and drying it on high. As long as you don't want to shrink it a lot.

I've tried. Sometimes it works to wash it, if that doesn't work than I don't know.
