This is a difficult question to answer - many people will tell you that you need to concentrate on obtaining a college degree - but there are many companies in various industries that would argue that. I guess the best advice I could give you is to not look so much for the best that you can obtain right now, but search within to find out what you would really like to do. If you are not qualified right now, then offer to intern - or just get your foot in the door in the direction you want to go. I wish you only the best!

There have been many people with unique gifts and insights that never finished college, much less went to college. From Edison to Einstein to J.P.Getty to most renowned writers and artists.
The point I'm making is college doesn't have to be the only way to get ahead.
I suggest you find something you like doing, start out at or near the bottom and learn the business. Then aim for going into business yourself. It worked pretty good for me.

construction work usually pays well, becoming a certified nursing assistant, automotive work if you are good with cars...my husband just has a h.s. diploma, and is a welder and makes $36.00 an hour. He went to a vocational training program for 3 months to get that.
