neanderthals were intelligent creatures who had a belief in the afterlife like us. damn, that's sexy.

Well since it is strongly argued among anthropologists that homo sapiens is not a direct descendant of neandertals but instead we are both ancestors of some lineage involving homo erectus.

I guess that would be like taking a chimpanzee for a wife. But then there are recent arguments that there was a lot in interbreeding between the two species and that the inferior neandertals genetics gave in to ours and they became extinct.

Maybe it would be more like taking something that is maybe partway between a chimp and us. Even though chimps are our closest living relatives, genetically speaking, they are certainly more different from us than neandertals were.

To answer your question, no! No, I wouldn't.

this is pretty a lot certain that both species inherited a similar genes from a consumer-friendly ancestor truly than from being interbred. by definition 2 separate species won't be able to interbreed. in view that HN became about three hundred,000 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old as a species it would want to no longer interbreed with people contained in the couple of minutes they shared a consumer-friendly habitat. previous to people leaving Africa both species were totally separated.
