I've been married 5 times, and divorced 5 times. There was just a time I knew it wasn't working anymore. I never screwed around on them, but a couple of them did on me, but that wasn't the reason I got rid of them. I love them all dearly, and even have contact with each occassionally. They are all remarried and happy with my cars and my homes. lol. My question is: What do I do now, go for number 6? I'm only 54 years old, but now all I want is sex from a woman, nothing else. Is that wrong? Thanks for any opinion and suggestions. Ron Couch

I think it is upto you. If you don't feel like marrying someone any more and can be happy with it, you don't have to. But if you still want to try marriage again, you should give yourself good time alone to figure out why those marriage have failed and have any common reasons. Maybe you pick the same type of woman.To break the pattern, you should examine carefully, maybe go see counsellor to see why you picked those woman and why your marriage failed. Then maybe you may find better woman for you as #6 marriage. If you just want to be single and do not want marriage type of relationship, that is your choice. But if you like being married, it is worth to try again but this time with more careful self examination and your relationship patterns research.

What, after four divorces you decided to keep going? Couldn't you understand that something wasn't working in the marriage arena? I don't think any woman in the world would marry you knowing you have racked up five divorces. If all you want is sex, then I do think that's a bit weird. Don't you like intimacy, companionship, sharing a joke, trusting someone, all that great stuff?
If you really just want sex, advertise somewhere for a mistress or a courtesan, a woman who will sleep with only you, whenever you want it, for a straight monthly fee. Draw up a contract if you like to keep her monogamous, treat her respectfully as you would anyone else you employ like a gardener or maid, and give her notice if you intend to fire her. Plenty of women would like such an arrangement.

If you just want sex, just go have sex. Don't screw with people's emotions by getting married again! It's hard enough to find a woman and keep her trust, but in your age range there are LOTS of women that are in reality just looking for the same thing you are. I have two divorced friends who are having the times of their lives right now. Its a choice, but make it for the right reasons, please.

Well Ron, if sex is all you're looking for, marriage is definitely not the right answer. Marriage is, should be, a life-long commitment and not a means of satisfying your sexual urges. Long story short, there are millions of escort services out there...if you've got the money, they'll give ya what you need.

Sounds like some fear of intimacy issues. I would try some group therapy for a few months and get some straight-dope feedback. You say you only need one thing - but you may well be BS'ing yourself right out of a good friend and lover.

Go for number 6 but have a prenuptial so your property and assets are protected. Tell her you have to have it cos it's not twice bitten it's 5 times bitten. I'm sure she'll understand.
