A lot of gals are into knitting these days. For example, loads have been knitting Harry Potter type things (scarves, sweaters, etc.) It takes a while but is worth it!

You could set out to read a book series. Or try learning a new language.

I think you've answered your own question simply by being here! After all, you wouldn't be here in the first place if you weren't having fun, would you? So I think you're already off to a good start in reducing and eliminating your "boredom factor."

Just ask yourself "If I could be anyone or do anything I wanted to right now, who would I be and what would I be doing?" Once you've answered that, try to come up with ways of making this wish come true.

For example: "I'd much rather be singing in a band" or "If only I were a tourist on a trip around the world!" Now think about ways you could make your wish come true. You might find that this little game will lead you to another fun project that is well within your grasp and means at the moment, such as "traveling around the world" on the internet!

If nothing else, you might even discover that asking yourself this question got rid of a few minutes of boredom! :)

Make some money, that's the best way to keep busy during the summer and do something productive. If you're under 16, try babysitting or yard work.

the public library has tons of books on every subject. Do you like to cook? Make things? Take photos? Volunteer at an animal shelter? Collect teddy bears for a hospital?
