Even though I am curious what will come in the future I think it would have been something to see the change in our countries from the 1950-1970's. I mean we went from The Cleaver's to Peace, Love, and War.

It seems like it was such a revolution....It makes me kind of ponder what is ahead too. My parents were raised in an era where little divorce occured and had the mom home dinner by 5. Then they were the people out demonstrating for equal rights for all, Free Love and Peace not War. Yet today they are the same people who are telling us "we have lost our values in this country". I just would like to see when it changed, how it changed and maybe I could understand why we are here now.

Back in the days of the "Ponderosa" with little Joe and Pa Cartwright and the rest of the family. I would guess it to be around the same time the "Little House on the Prairie" stories were lived.

Because a person who broke the law never did so for very long if they caught 'em.

People knew the value of Faith and hard work. Laziness didn't happen much because they didn't really have any conveniences. Kids had to use their imaginations and fishing poles more.

I could go on and on....

my favorite time period is the France of the XVIII century. this is the time when i would have liked to live. i like this period because of the profusion of the French kings. and the most important for me are the dresses that the queens had. i wont to live i those big castles, eat tasty foods and wear fancy clothes.

I would live in the 1970's. I've always had this morbid daydream that if I was a hardcore disco-er, I would be all glittery and big haired, and be all coked up and die alone in a club bathroom of an overdose. I don't do drugs, and I'm not in favor of glamorizing them, but that image of myself has always hung around my brain.....strange, I know. (I also realize I could do this today, but it seemed to be a slightly more naive time)

I would live in the present. Several years ago I asked my Grandmother to tell me about the good 'ole days. She suprised me. She said, "don't believe that **** about good 'ole days, these are the good days, you have electricity, air, running hot and cold water not working almost everyday from sun-up to sun-down", I believed that she was right. However if I could go back in time knowing what I know now, I would do it in a heart beat.

1700's in England. With all the pretty poofy dresses and when chivalry was thriving. But the time period now is just fine.

the 60's and be in my late teens early 20's - because it was a wild time to be alive - lots of sex drugs and rock and roll - plus people were sweeter then - there wasnt as much violence as there is now. free love and all that!!! peace man lol
if you look at fashion you could put on a tshirt and your bell bottom jeans and be cool - now it is how much does that cost or who made that (designer) - life is so much more complicated now.
