I've seen this movie during my high school days. this is the best i've ever seen. i'd like to share this movie with you. try to look for a copy of this one. u'll never regret having one. and for those who have seen it, i want to know your reaction.

i dont understand the language but it catches my attention. i only based on translation yet i luvd it very much.

i loved this movie, i'm fluent in italian so it was even better that it was in that language. i also watched it in high school and then that same week, i went online and bought it. i thought it was a very moving story and the way that the father tried to make it into a game for his son really touched my heart. when the little boy is hiding in the small stove towards the end, it made me cry, so did the walk where he found his mother. gotta love the under the table kiss though ; ) it's a very heartwarming movie and i agree, if you haven't seen it, definitely go out and rent it or buy it

Yes, it was funny until they were taken to the concentration camp, then it was utterly heartbreaking. I have tried for years to avoid anything to do with the Holocaust and I didn't know the movie dealt with it. Now I saw what it was like for some of my less fortunate ancestors.

It made me cry. It was heartbreaking, yet, it was very hopeful at the same time. Benigni's performance is breathtaking, I love his spirit. And the child who played his son was well-cast.
Excellent film. Beautifull shot. Beautifully written. :)
