My sister said that they use to be strippers and the name of the strip club in NY was called the pussycat dolls so they were dense and named there band after the club

they weren't strippers. they have a burlesque style show in vegas and they often feature many different celebrities. they dance, sing, and are pretty sexy lol. they don't strip though. they still have the vegas show and now they picked a few girls to go out on tour singing, although they don't perform the PCD's songs in the show, they do their own burlesque show.
