Did you know that 80% of Stanford students could not find the error in the alphabet above?

This is a MySpace (and other similar websites) bulletin that is a pass-around to drive people nuts. Everybody wants to repost it so they can get the supposed 'answer,' when really you repost it, nothing happens, and everyone on your friends list goes crazy trying to find the error themselves. Pretty much just primitive spam. There's no error.

The original at the bottom read "Did you know that 80% of Stanford students could not find the error in the alphabet above. Repost this with the title Find the Error, and when you click post the answer will show up.." or at least that's how it showed up on my bulletins.

There should be a question mark after "above" instead of a period. Maybe that's just how I interpret it.

The 0 should be an O.

So, do you have an answer for us? If you don't I think you will have a bunch of crabby answerers out here. I cannot see any problem with this list of the alphabet. But now I am very curious about what could possibly be wrong with it.

The "M" is a different font from the other letters. It is thinner.

Notice the spacing of the letter "N" and compare it with the spacing of the letter "M".

Also, the letter "I" should be centered with the rest of the letters.

I see 2 errors.

Is it possible, that since you could not find the error, that you did not include it in this list?

Perhaps the header of this read: List the letters in the GREEK alaphabet or something.

There is nothing wrong with the alphabet so that makes me have something in common with the stanfrord students.

That's the alphabet I've know for thirty some years. I give up. What's the "error"?

80%, that means that majority of the intelligent students in Stanford think that there's nothing wrong with this..

so if i see no error in this, that makes me one of those intelligent students...

I would have said the I does not look right. But typing it in, it looks the same. there are 26 letters, and they look to be in the right order. Is there a catch to this, unless I'm blind, and I know I'm not stupid, but I can't catch it. Unless that's it, there is nothing wrong, and it is trying to trip someone up. So Let us know.
