I just got a new fish, and he needs a name. He is a red betta!

I had a beautiful deep red Betta. I had him for 3 years. His name was Vermilion (a color that is a vibrant shade of red). I would love for his name to live on. (I have salt water tanks now and haven't had a Betta since.)

We have two fish: Cat Food and Chicken Tuna. We also had one named "Stinky Crotch" which I had NOTHING to do with. It was named by a friends son, and since it fit in with the other two, we figured why not? He died, though.
Ours are bettas.

hah I just read one of the answers..cornelius. I remember when I was younger I had a mouse named cornelius. I remember I named it after the guy in chitty chitty bang bang. I think it was supposed to mean crack pot because the guy's name was cornelius pots.
but some names..I tend to go for the more unusual or funny names rather than the 'cutesy' ones

Remus, after the slain brother of Romulus, who was the founder and first king of Rome. The two were suckled by a wolf. Everyone always remembers Romulus, and you should be different.
Also, given your fish's aggressive nature, Remus would be fitting.

Cool! I had a betta and I named him Alfa, the next one I get I am going to name him gamma.
