1.) Christian
2.) I'd go more if it were open more than the 3 times a week I attend, however, I am not dedicated to my religion. I am dedicated to God and His commands to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength." And to "Love your neighbor as yourself".
It is in what ministry that actually counts. When you put your actions and time where you say your belief is, then you can see how dedicated to their 'religion' a person is.
I am active in the choir and special music ministries, the Hospitality Ministry Team and child care ministries.
3.) Adult (30-50)
4.) Any other comments you have about religion in America ---
Why is it that 60 percent of Americans believe they are Christian but curse and act self-centered all day long.
AND allow the despicable trash that Hollywood and television call entertainment on the screens coming into American homes.
How can they talk down Bush when He is a Christian only doing what He thinks is best right now.
How can we allow as Christians for the NAACP to tell us we are racist yet they have no problems about JET, the black award shows, and the United ***** College Fund....
Oh excuse me that is not a religious issue is it?!.....
I could go on and on....but I won't.

I'm solitary eclectic Wiccan/Pagan and feel more spiritual and closer to the God/Goddess than when I went to church, I cast esbat once a month and talk to the God/Goddess everyday, I do the Sabbats, Solstice's and Equinox's. So my Spiritual life is very full and happy. I'm adult Female 44. As for comments this country was founded on freedom of religion, the right to chose your path to God whatever you perceive that to be. I respect all positive religions and detest religions that support hate of any kind. I just pray that others learn tolerance of religions that are different than theirs.
These words the Wiccan Rede Fulfill:
If It Harms None, Do What You Will
Blessed Be

I have no religion.
I love to study various structured religions.
I'm 23 years old.
Religion in America is controlled by Celebrities and popular people, and often people are far too influenced by these people. It's hard to tell what religion to follow, one week Kabbalism is popular, the next Scientology is. Why does religion have to be so surrounded and dictated by celebrities?

1. no affiliation, don't believe in religion
2.stopped going to church many, many years ago
3.older adult
4. the purpose of religion is to teach people how to become spiritual ( having a personal contact with a higher power as they understand it). when a person becomes spiritual, religion is no longer needed in that person's life. too many people worship the messenger and not the message.

Agnostic
It's more of a lack of religion than a religion really, not believeing or disbelieving in a higher power
like my name says, none of your business
I think that the Christian religion has way to much control over our government, I hope we don't become a theocracy anytime soon.
