I heard that dolphins are. I saw some male dogs hump each other. Anyway, the amount of gay people have been about 5-10% since man was born. People can not learn to be gay. There will be pleanty of warm blooded beings and lots of straight sex.

Read Biological Exuberance. There are so many gay animals out there that if the Judeo-Christain Right would bother to look up facts they'd be ashamed of their ignorance.
Sorry all you Christians out there, it's a fact that a) over 2/3 of the worlds cultures surveyed (mostly from the past, since Judeo-Christianity ahs prettymuch wiped out most other unique cultures) had legal gay marriage and unions. Even the Catholic Church up until the 600's. It is Also a fact that b) there ARE HOMOSEXUAL ANIMALS.
Stating the contrary only exposes your ignorance.

There are gay animals. There were even famous gay penguins that raised an orphaned young penguin.
This quote was taken from a newspaper article on the link below, which has more imformation: "Not only does homosexual behavior exist in nearly every species of every order of animal known to science (a fact demonstrated repeatedly by uncounted studies beginning with Konrad Lorenz, the father of modern zoology) but as one ascends the evolutionary ladder from less sophisticated creatures to hominids, homosexual activity increases in frequency."

I think to answer this question, you have to look at the meaning of sex to each creature. Humans are by far the most likely creature you will find who will have sex recreationally, meaning not purely for the purpose of procreating. Since having homosexual relations would obviously not result in offspring, it would be pointless for other animals to partake in it. Humans, on the other hand, look at sex differently, and thus would not run into this same dilemma. There have been cases of homosexual actions on the part of some animals, usually those who are fairly advanced, such as primates, who also have a tendency to look at sex recreationally at times.

actually, you're wrong, and here's why:
the only two creatures that have sex for pleasure are humans and dolphins. And unless you have been out scuba diving watching a bunch of dolphins having sex, you don't know that they don't have gay sex. So don't assume.
All of those other animals have sex purely out of the instinct to procreate, love is not involved, and sex is not an expression of love.

Where did you hear that "most all warm blooded animals"- 'cause I never heard that. I do remember the studies done on rats in cages where overcrowding resulted in homosexual behavior in rats (that was around 1972 or 1973, the first environmental conservation class at the junior college I went to). And there are some animals that exhibit homosexual behaviors at times. I don't think anyone ever used the terms "most all" in regards to homosexual behavior.

The animals aren't stupid like humans. They know instinctively what kind of mate they should be looking for. We on the other hand have lost our sniffer so to speak. Most men would do a hole in the wall if no one was looking and women, well it has been said on here, they will do cucumbers if needed.

I've heard stories about gay animals believe it or not, however most of them know how to behave themselves, and can certainly tell the difference between a male or female. did you know that animals probably fear God more then the average human.
