depends on the country you're in. countries with a high fraud risk void checks older than a month, other countries are less rigid. call your bank, they'll have a quick answer for you. also, make sure the party that cut you the check hasn't put a stop payment on it.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aOll7
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Checks usually are good for 1 year before they expire. So, if you have a check dated January 28, 2006 - you would have a year from then to cash it.

If it is a personal check, it depends on the banking institution. Bank of America changed their policy of checks having a one-year expiration to a 6-month expiration period. It depends on the bank of issue.

most checks have expiration dates. is this a personal check, a paycheck, etc? they usually will have varying time frames on how long they are good for...some a few weeks, some up to a year. best way is to take it to the bank and see if they'll cash it. if it's a personal check, you might want to advise the person you got it from that you found it and plan on cashing it so that they don't get a surprise in their bank statment

most banks will not accept checks after 90 days. Call the checkwriter and ask him to replace it or contact the bank to see if they will accept it
