Hi! I am ready to move out now, and want to let the apt. mgr. know that I will be vacating in about a week. The thing is...(kinda silly I guess) I cannot decide which form applies "exactly" to my position.
Do I want.. "Termination of Tenancy by Tenant"? or "Tenants notice ending "At-Will Tenancy"? or "Notice of intent to Vacate? (scream) They are all starting to sound alike.....If anyone has any clarity they can share, I would really appreaciate the advice.... Thanks!

Month to Month is exactly that.....You must give 30 days notice....So tomorrow you will pay July's rent and give Notice of Intent to Vacate......

Even though you are moving out next week, you are responsible for the entire month's rent....

Quite frankly, a polite letter together w/ the rent check will suffice...you don't need to do an actual Pleading.

Just a word of caution. Just because you are on a month 2 month does not necessarily exclude you from providing the standard 30 day notification of vacancy. I had a problem with this at my last apartment complex. You might want to clarify with the apartment manager what month 2 month actually means so you don't get stuck having to pay an additional month or some other kind of penalty.

It's actually a tenancy by sufferance, in other words they can give you 30 days notice for no cause and you have to move.

You have to give 30 days notice, thats all no special form.
