I was reading it but have stopped because it just gets more and more boring the book. I'm at 280. I liked all his previous works. Diary is my favorite. But what's up with Haunted? He sounds like some writer trying too hard to be cult-y to attract a particular group of readers? The book just isn't right. The book doesn't get me to think unlike his previous works. Does anyone feel the same way about the book?

I read it when it first came out. I didn't like it as much as his other books, but I still really, really enjoyed it. I didn't get the feeling he was trying too hard, but I know a lot of people did, so maybe I just missed out on it. Its still brilliant though, in my opinion. Guts almost made me puke.
