Its simple. 24/day 7days/week 7x24= 168 hours. 52weeks/year. 52x168= 8736 hours in a year

depends upon what they are for...
If you are asking your boss for a day off... he might say...
DAY OFF!?!?
You are off 2 days a week for the weekend.. times 52 is 104 days
You are off 2 weeks for vacation which is 14 days for 118 days.
You are off for 21 Holidays a year for total of 139 days.
You work for 8 hours and are off 16 hours per day times 365 days makes 5840 hours or 243 days for a total of 364 days!
There are only 365 days in the year!! so you only work 1 day!! and NOW you want that ONE day OFF!?!?

If there are 365 days per year and 24 hours per day.... then you have 8,760 hours per year. Unless it's a leap year then you have 8,784.
