Take a styrophome sphere and a styrophome cube, about the same size. You can find these at any craft store, like Hobby Lobby. Cover them with paper and use a ruler to sketch out a grid on each. Fill a spray bottle with water, put in a few drops of food coloring. Spray the water on the sphere and then the cube to simulate rain. See how it spreads out over the grid.

This shows how the shape of Earth-a sphere as opposed to a cube-affects weather patterns. I did this for a science fair in eighth grade and they put me in the Physics section.

Take a diet coke, drink approximately 1/4 of it. Take 10 Mentos, drop them in and apply the top. See if it changes color.........
