i need to know if anyone can give me a rough idea of what i'd be looking at paying to have new airbags put in a 2004 cavalier?

Has them for a 2004 cavelier for $103.79
that is where I get all my parts for whatever I can't find here at the auto stores.. and they are delivered in 2 days :)
plan on a 2-3 hour professional installation.. maybe and other $200 and a one day wait for the service..

Approximately $1800-$2000 U.S., parts and labor. The airbag units, some of the wiring, and some sensors have to be removed and replaced in order to properly install a new airbag system after the old one has been deployed.
Unlike the poster before me, DON'T try a junkyard. Be sure you get new, quality Delco parts for your car...they were designed for your car, and they will work the best; and you'll have the peace of mind that comes of knowing the airbag units haven't been tampered with. (Something you CAN'T get from a junkyard!)
Airbag systems are always expensive to replace, but they'll save your life in a crash. Good luck!

get your air bags out of a junk yard car. and put them in your car.
easy and around 300.00
