I guess it could be possible if you are using a soap to strong for your skin. Suggestion: Try a mild antibacterial soap.It should help. Sensitive skin acts funny. Find the product that fits and stick to it.

Several kinds of soap can break you out. I would recommend using dove or dial. Dial is an anti-bacterial soap that is used in the hospitals and it is very good. It is also recommended by the doctors to use around an area that you had surgery.
My husband washes his face with rubbing alcohol, it doesn't dry the skin, it cleans it and makes it smooth.
