I like Sam Jackson. I dont like the idea of this movie. It would be like Jeanna Jameson doing a dramatic role with no nudity. It don't make sense.

I agree with you. When I saw the trailer it made me think of him in the movie deep blue sea. What was the point!!
Maybe he won't die in this one right off the back.

Jenna's been trying to get into some big screen films for a while now. She likes what she does, but that's not all she wants to do. She's not always going to be famous for sex. One day she's going to need something else to fall back on, and she really is a good actress. She just needs someone to give her the opportunity to show it. And just because she's an adult film star, doesn't mean she does everything naked.

Oh, and the deal with Samuel L. Jackson, I don't have a clue. I've never even heard of the movie you're talking about. I just know about Jenna Jameson because I used to watch a lot of Howard Stern, and she was on there several times. And because she used to be one of my friends on MySpace. The real one, not someone pretending to be her.

Probably because it's a paycheck. Movies are an actor's bread and butter, aren't they. Smart actors don't get all artsy and say, oh, this movie isn't good enough for me to be in, I'm an Artiste.

Sam Jackson has been in some dogs like Deep Blue Sea, probably because of the paycheck and because he probably thought it would be fun to play both a wealthy black enterpreneur and get eaten by a giant shark all in one movie.

Sam Jackson is brilliant - be sure he's got good reasons for whatever he does.

Come on, he also did Changing Lanes. He can't have every movie be Shaft, Pulp Fiction, or Unbreakable. On top of that, he was only in three other movies this year (so far) and was probably worried we'd forget who he was or that Botswana might make more money than him for the first time since 1992.

Don't get me wrong; I like him, but he's not at all picky about the movies he gets into.

I would like to believe the line "don't judge a book by its cover"... so maybe when I hear how good or terrible it may be... then I can make a better assessment.

But - I do agree with most people... the trailer really leaves much to be desired, and if the movie was to really suck... then obviously it was done for the $$$.... but who can blame him? I work & get paid by a meager salary... an actor of his cailber can name 7 - figure salaries, for his cooperation!

LOL! I was thinking the same thing when I saw the preview on tv the other day. The movie looks like a joke and I would have expected him to choose a better movie to make. Maybe he got a nice paycheck for that one.

I heard that the movie Snakes on a Plane sucked, is this true? I thought just by the title that it would be laughed out of theaters. I mean, I saw the preview, but I didn't think they would have the balls to actually let it make it to theaters. Oh well, what can we do?

Simple. Huge, famous actors have the advantage of the best scripts, etc. We know that. So, the top actors (like Samuel Jackson) take roles either for a great script or "cha-ching"... money.

He took the role purely because of the tile of the film. The story goes he said "I gotta be in a movie with a name that cool, I don't care what it's like."

I cannot imagine who even comes up with an idea like that - and calls it something so stupid - and then gets SAMUEL L. JACKSON - who is genius in Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown - maybe it is a favor for a relative or something......yikes!

LOL! No dude LOL! I haven't seen the movie but it looked kinda stupid to me. I still liked SJ in Pulp Fiction! The hole "Kahuna burger" scene always makes me laugh! LOL! Rockin observation though.
