who is happy that Star Jones is no longer on The View?
omg she looks horrible, like her face looks like the cartoon movie"the antz" anyone agree? the big eyes and all.. for some reason i dont like her. anyway, do yall ?

i don't watch the show but damn shes all over the fkn news it sucks. shes worse than the tom and katie drama ****. ugh.

I am actually glad to see Star Jones' departure from the View. Star's exit revealed her own character and its faults more than those of the other women and the show itself. Barbara may have stuttered a bit, but the woman is a dang good reporter which even Star could not say anything against. There was a bit of stabbing on both sides but I find the most fault with Star's exit since she was talking so horribly about her being fired, and her "feel sorry for me story." When you enter into a contract you need to keep your word. If you decide that you don't like your job keep it to yourself, no one wants to hire someone who complains about their job and does what they want over what they have agreed or are paid to do. I can respect that she's a minority, but she shoulda known she was easily replaceable.

The View will never be the same without the interesting and intelligent Star. Who cares how she lost weight or the size of her wedding they were both great and interesting. If I were 40, lost a lot of weight, found a great guy, and got married I'd talk about it a lot. Hopefully, most people would be happy for me. I didn't pay for her wedding nor did I go thru all the problems and pain of losing weight (and she should be admired for that great feat because we all know how difficult it is, no matter how it is accomplished). She never asked "If you were a tree". How dumb can Barbara be? Just because she is as old as Moses doesn't make her right or even interesting. Barbara should hang her head and so should ABC. This is the end of the view for me.
Best of luck to Star, she is smarter that Barbara could ever hope to be. Barbara thinks she is the diva but pretends she is a solid journalist. Haven't we all worked for someone like Barbara? The day will come when Barbara is the fallen star and I hope she goes splatttttttt!!!!!

I want star jones to gain some weight before she gets back on television because she looks like life after death. Secondly, I dont really watch the view but it doesnt seem like she contributes much to the show anyway. What discrase to the Black Race, a ***** who tried to scam her way to have a million dollar wedding and lies about the fact that shehad gastric bypass.

OMG yes I totally agree. She has gone way over board with the weight loss or makeup shes wearing. YUCK. She Looks HORRIBLE!!!
Was a matter of time before Star left. Knowing that Meredith was leaving and they were replacing Meredith with Rosie O'Donnell.
Star & Rose DON'T see eye to eye on ANY ISSUE. Would be FIREWORKS everyday of the week!!!!

I love Star Jones. She has definitely paved the way for women of color. Everyone is complaining about her weight loss, but it is her body and that is what she decided to do. She was morbidly obese, we all saw that. She needed to lose the weight. Who cares how she did it. She's healthier now.
Rosie needs to shut up and get her fat butt on a diet.Barbara Walters sucks too, and she has a speech impediment. No one is complaining about her plastic surgery. Her face looks disgustingly pulled back.
Secondly, about her "bragging" about her wedding, she had every right to do so. She even said it on her show, that she never thought she could find true love, and once she did she was elated and proud.
The only people who made The View interesting were Star and Meredith. Now that they are gone, the show will go down.
We should all feel sorry for Star as she removes the knife from her back that Walters and ABC put there.
EVERYONE SHOULD LEAVE STAR JONES ALONE!

Star has become so full of herself since she has gotten married that seeing her leave the show should be better for the show. She is just not what that show needs, not saying that I think Rosie is what the show needs either. We will see what the future holds for the show. I don't see it being on the air that much longer with all of the drama surrounding the show.

Star Jones looks like a black Tori Spelling since she lost all that weight.Long face and big eyes. Tori does'nt have all that saggy skin though.
Neither one is attractive..even though they're both filthy rich!..Just goes to prove.."money cant buy everything"

Well if I had to chose between Rosie O'Donnell who is taking over Meredith Viera's spot as the "moderator" or Star Jones ..........I'd pick Star every time

About the only time I ever watched The View was when I was home sick... its not something that I normally would watch. However Star Jones just irratated me. Can't put my finger on it - she just irratates me. Even on the rare occasion her mouth is shut she is still irratating.

since i haven't watched "The View" in a long time i don't really care. i never liked star jones. i find her to be a big-mouthed b*tch. she's an egomaniac and a liar. since she lost all that weight (thru gastric by-pass which she won't admit) she's gotten big bug eyes to match her big mouth and big ego. i like meredith and joy tho.
