I chose to include sexual love for it is a crucial part of your life, health, identity, and culture. From a physiological standpoint, the process involves a generalize vasodilatation and myotonia in the genital region causing,
1.the clitoris to become erect and increase in both diameter and length
2.the labia majora to thin, flatten and elevate
3.the labia minora to engorge, swell, and deepen in color
4.the Bartholin’s glands to secrete mucin
5.the vagina to expand in length and diameter
6.the uterus to balloon and tent upward in the pelvis
7.the cervical os to open
8.the rectal sphincter to contact
9.the pelvic floor muscles to contract up to 15 times at 0.8 seconds intervals
In addition, blood pressure and heart rate increase, pupils dilate, and nipples become erect.
