he should have gone on the bus.
you need the car for the kids.
I never heard of a guy taking off like that to care for grandma. I think he likes to go partying.
anyway, he shouldn't have taken the car.

First of all I think your question is confusing and doesn't give enough info about you and your bf. I will say that I think you are being very selfish for saying that other relatives can take care of his grandmother instead of him. Maybe he should have discussed it with you but I think he is doing the right thing.

I think that his grandmother really means a lot to him. That's why he's taking care of her. She's family. So it's natural for him to worry. He sounds like a pretty sweet guy taking care of his grandma. There's nothing selfish about that. Ask him if his grandma is ok when he gets back. Show him that you care.

I think you need to pick your battles wisely and remember not to bother with the small stuff... a guy who is kind enough to take care of his grandmother will surely know how to treat the other women in his life too. Keep yourself bizze while he is gone and the 5 days will fly by. Life is too short to worry about 5 days :)

I think you are the one being selfish. Sounds like you have a good guy there, he cares about his family and is willing to help out. Many a girl should hope to find a man with the same values. Suck up the fact that you will not see him over the holiday and forget about it.

his grandmother is a family member, if he wants to take care of her let him, there may have been other people in his family who could have done it, but maybe she specifically wanted him over and he is afterall her grandson they have a right to spend time together whether he has you in his life or not, and are you jealous that he has a new car? this has nothing to do with seeing his grandmother or are you insecure that he may attract other girls while he is down there in this new car? i think that you are the one being a little selfish if you think he shouldnt spend time with his grandma who may not live long......

if he's really taking care of his grandmother how can you call him selfish? If it was your grandmother would you want him to call u that?
what's more important fireworks or his grandmother, face it your just upset because he didn't talk it over with you first, but she's his grandmother.

Sounds to me like your being selfish. It is his sick grandmother, isn't it? How come you can't go along with them? I don't really understand your problem, sorry.
