First off, Judas Priest is on VH1 Classic right now, Classics in Concert...just started, on for another hour and a half. It has been on a bunch, but figured I would throw it out there.
"Hair band" metal was the music of our generation, right? Well, it was for me and all my friends. I still love it. Can't wait for the Poison/Cinderella concert coming up...love G'nR, Telsa, Skid Row, Crue, you name it, I dig it.
I never liked Judas Priest, don't know why, but now that I am removed from my younger days, I love it. I wonder if it is just because we are all so deprived of good rock'n roll music?
It's Friday night. I just rolled in to the crib. I got a nice drink in my hand, good tunes on the tv, and I am feeling my youth!
If you love the metal, are in a good mood, love life, are feeling it on a friday...sound off to me: concert memories, your bands, our generation, the love of "our" music, favorite tunes...why metal ruled the world!!!!
HIT ME!!

My first concert was Tesla and Firehouse. My 3rd concert was G'nR/Metallica at Arrowhead Stadium in the fall of '92. I was a freshman. WOW! Off the subject, but I say Widespread Panic last Wednesday on the opening show of their tour...not a hair band, but great music!!!
